Chev has fathered two litters within the past year and his “kids” are doing well.

Aspen, who is shy of a year old, won a Prize 1 (perfect score of 112) at a NAVHDA Natural Ability test in September.  NAVHDA stands for North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association and those Prize 1’s don’t come easily. Aspen also won ribbons at the AWPGA Specialty Show in Boise, Idaho last weekend.  He’s hunted his first grouse and woodcock, too.

Sasha, who is just about four months old, lives east of us in Minnesota. She’s a beauty, living a great puppy life. She’s had her first boat ride and recently graduated from Puppy Kindergarten. Her person reported, “She did three commands…sit, down, and stand…and two tricks: shake and spin.”
