Huge congratulations to Poppy and her breeder, Sheryl Diernfeld from Ft. Collins, Colorado.

“Poppy,” one of the puppies from Sheryl’s Fall 2018 litter (Chev is the sire and Piper is the mom) killed it today in the NAVHDA Natural Ability test, earning a Prize II. What’s remarkable is that Poppy is just 5 and a half months old!  She proved her ability in four areas.  From the NAVHDA website:

The next litter for “Mama” Piper and “Papa” Chev is on the way, expected in early June. We have been thrilled at the quality of puppies that have come from their pairing, thus the repeat breeding – coarse coats, wonderful temperaments and amazing natural hunting ability.
